Elche has a considerable amount of land and property available for economic activities (developed land and buildings for industrial and tertiary use, offices and business premises), with a strategic location, good accessibility, infrastructures and quality services, at very competitive prices. Furthermore, they represent a new paradigm of industrial land associated with the principals of environmental, social and economic sustainability and the values of entrepreneurship, creativity and innovation on a national and international level.

Promociones e Iniciativas Municipales de Elche S.A. (PIMESA) is a municipal company and its corporate purpose is to intervene in the industrial land market and lower the prices, to favour public and private investment, the establishment and growth of companies in the city. Ever since it was set up it has promoted and been involved in urban development, and property management work for economic activities, which include the Elche Business Park, La Alcudia Agri-food Park and the office building called Edificio Bulevar Parque.

In order to favour the implementation of new business projects, an active real estate and land development policy is being drawn up for economic activities, structured in a series of strategic action plans:

The economic activity of Elche is supported by a considerable amount of infrastructure, namely the ten areas of industrial land, overall, which covers a surface area of 7,338,187 m2. This makes Elche one of the municipalities of the Valencian Community with the largest area of land used for business.

Located at the N-340 Alicante-Murcia access into Elche and it is fully integrated into the city centre, which makes industrial use compatible with leisure and commerce.

It is located in a prime position, with access to the N-340 and the Elche E-20 ring road and it is beside developing residential areas.

In the north of Elche, it is connected to the AP-7 Mediterranean Motorway and the CV-84 that joins up with the Medio Vinalopó region and the A-31. Although footwear and shoemaking has an important bearing, the services now occupy a good part of its surface area.

On the  N-340 road that joins Elche up with Crevillent and the AP-7 motorway. On the CV-851 road that connects Elche up with Santa Pola and the Vega Baja and beside the Elche EL-20 ring road. It is very close to the city centre, in an area where urban development is in full swing, close to a hospital and superstores. Companies from all sectors have set up here, along with a large distribution  group. The private sports club Sociedad Tiro de Pichón of Elche is also located here.

On the CV-853 that joins up with the Vega Baja. It is mainly used by the agricultural and food industry,  storage companies, processors and transporters and the Fruit and Vegetable Market is located there. It has access to all the services and transport connections because it is close to the city centre.
