The European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO), the European Centre for Companies and Innovation called the Centro Europeo de Empresas Innovadoras (CEEI Elche), the exhibition centre called Societat Valenciana Fira Alacant (formerly known as the Institución Ferial Alicantina), the technological centre for the consultancy sector called Centro de Gestión del Conocimiento Empresarial de la Comunidad Valenciana (CGCE), the Fundación Quórum de la Universidad Miguel Hernández, the congress centre called Centro de Congresos Ciutat d’Elx, the local offices of the Chamber of Commerce and those of the Centre for Technology and Innovation in Footwear called the Instituto Tecnológico del Calzado (INESCOP), the Office for Harmonization in the Internal Market, among others. The Asociación Centro Europeo de Empresas e Innovación de Elche is a  non-profit organisation, set up to promote the entrepreneurial character and to create new innovative companies, in order to diversify, modernize and consolidate the Valencian business network.

The CEEI Elche has joined forces with the E.B.N., the European Business and Innovation Centre Network and the ANCES (Spanish association of CEEI).

The Official Chamber of Commerce called the Camara Oficial de Comercio, Industria y Navegacion de Alicante is a public institution with provincial jurisdiction, it is an intermediary between companies and the Authorities, which provides a whole range of services to improve the resources of companies. The Elche office is strategically located in the Elche Business Park, one of the biggest economic areas of the Valencian Community. It has:

  • Business incubator with eighteen offices for Entrepreneurs.
  • Training for Companies.
  • Service to process the establishment of Companies and grants.
  • Advice on Imports and Exports.
  • Legalisation of documents.
  • List of companies.

INESCOP is a non-profit private innovation and technology centre that has 50 years of experience, which provides technological service, know-how and research to the footwear sector, so that the companies yield returns and become more competitive.

Its main lines of research at the moment are digital transformation, reducing the environmental footprint and guaranteeing the health and comfort of users. It has the biggest specialised footwear laboratory, which can carry out more than 600 inspections on materials, the finish and the final product. As well as being certified by ENAC, INESCOP is a Supervisory Agency for the EC certification of professional use footwear.

INESCOP belongs to the Spanish Federation of Technology Centres (FEDIT), to the Network of Technology Institutes of the Valencian Community (REDIT), as well as many other entities and associations. It has also signed agreements and contracts with other national and international organisations.

The Network of Technology Institutes of the Valencian Community (REDIT) is a private non-profit association, which consists of and represents the eleven technology centres of the region. Its objective is to provide a wide range of tools to companies, especially SMEs and microSMEs, to make them more competitive by promoting Research, Development and Innovation (R+D+I).

REDIT writes reports and carries out studies on industry and innovation, to   acquire knowledge and attain social and economic development. It is a   Think Tank. It also promotes training and cooperation between the centres to boost opportunities and attain the most ambitious objectives.

REDIT has almost 200 laboratories, 15 technology, market and trend observatories, and it is the first Spanish network to be certified by the ENAC. Currently they are as follows:
